Always a good thing to know fellow Sullivan's from around the globe.
I think I have sent a few of your bread recipes to my dad, he loves to bake bread.
My father was in the Navy on the Essex aircraft carrier from 1966 to 1969 out of Providence, RI.
My Grandfather who passed away before I was born is whom I am named after. So, I am actually Raymond M Sullivan II.
He was born in 1892 I think, he graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1918 as a doctor and had a family practice until he died in 1963-4.
He was a doctor for a Midwestern gangster named Isidore "Kid Can" Blumenfeld and movie actor Clark Gable.
So, a good man you must be,I enjoyed the irish corner website thanks to you steering it my way.Me and my man go to Ireland every couple of years, planning a trip for October.Have friends with a cottage in Creegh, county Clare, we stay there for a week or so, then travel around for another week or so.Enjoy talking with people who love the ol sod as much as we do!
Shame on me for doing nothing more than working and taking care of the children! Mr. McCann, I do apologize for not getting back to ye sooner! It is miraculous indeed how the waters of Ireland indeed flow through our veins. The coasts call out to us, day after day. I think that is why I do so Love the East coast of Canada because is so resembles our homeland. I want to thank you as well for being the very first to message me...
The family name is Murray... we were a bit shaky tracing some of it but learned that the house is a two family that was shared by a brother and sister... the relative we have was out of town when my grandmother and I were over there this summer so there's a lot of holes in the history! Daniel, Thomas and Ellen are big names in my family, though!
Hi!! I actually have family rooted in Kilgarvan, the family house is actually on 569 right near Ard Tully castle. Unfortunately, it is no longer in my family. However, I've been told that we have living relatives in the area. When I was there I was not able to meet up with the relatives but was able to dig a bit in the family history thanks to some very friendly people who live in Kilgarvan! Of course, I hope to make it back soon!!
Thank you John and a very Merry and Peaceful Christmas to you too,
I am in NY these days doing a show. Looking forward to the New Year.
Hope all is well with you and yours. Look forward to receiving some more of your funnies. Nollaig Shona dhuit.

My Sullivan family has been here in the states since mid to late 1800's.
My grandfather was first generation born in the USA in 1892.

I keep saying I am going to make a trip over, but as
yet haven't made that far..
Enjoy and God Bless
