Hang in there. I know the holiday's can be tough. I'm just around the lake. So, when it's cold and there's too much snow.. just remember.. I'll have about 3 feet more snow than you. Happy Holiday's from Michigan.

Hey! Welcome to the group, and thanks for the friend invite... My bike is a Roketa, and beleive it or not, I picked it up brand new for $800. What I have been trying to get from people by collaborating is mainly lyrics, I don't like writing my own too much. Also, chord arrangments could be interesting, God knows I use my own too much. As far as drums go, I am limited to prefessional sounding - yet still sampled and lacking alot of emotion - drum programs. Gotta go, bell is about to ring...
Cece, I noticed that you live in Chicago and have pics of Colorado. I live in South Elgin, out in the far west suburbs. I often say that none of my friends are surprised when they learn that I am 40 miles out of the loop.
How long did you live in Denver? I have some Colorado pics on the site. My wife and I like to vacation in Buena Vista. I have never been to Gray's Peak, but I did climb Bierstadt once - the hardest physical thing I have ever done. I will never really be a 14er bagger. Now I just aim to get as high above timberline as I can. Not even much shame about a trailhead that starts at timberline! Just being up there is great.
Sounds like you had something of an existential crash, for lack of a better term, not knowing details. I hope you are making headway in your search. Rather, I hope it feels like you are making headway. Sometimes just hanging in there is progress, even if it doesn't seem like it.
Well, just had to write another Illinoisan. Take care.
Cece I enjoyed your pictures ! Thats also a pretty name you have, never knew anyone with that name before. Since you love the mountains you should visit Tenn. sometime. The Smokey Mtn.'s and the Blue RIdge Parkway are only 30 min. and 1 1/2 hour away for me. I'll try to add some pictures of the mountains on later. Hope to hear from you sometime. You'll make alot of friends on here. Cindy
I am a composer as well... I have been playing keyboard since I was five, and I'm halfway through putting out a CD. Do you play any instruments alongside with singing? I have a group called 'General Musician Chat' reserved for musicians. You should come check it out!
Hi CeCe--Thanks for the buddy connection. Your pictures take my breath away--how clear and beautiful they are! How is the weather in Chicago?
Philly is experiencing strange weather for sure--cool, even cold am and late pm, but afternoons are gloriously warm and crispy clear. I rather enjoyed the brief tour I had of Chicago and we had a blast at the Lincoln Park Zoo. HAve oyu been? Last free zoo and right there along Lake Michigan--very nice to be able to habe seen it. I have relatives in Bloomington and my uncle loves to get up and go whenever we blow through town, so we hit Chicago one day and Kentucky the next--saw Mammoth Cave; a definite must see if you have time to drive three hours.
Speaking of caves, did you ever see any when you were in Ireland? (interior) I saw one on the Discovery or History Channel the other week--they were discussing Vikings and one particular cave. I always wonder when I am there who walked before me and what they thoughht about, and if there is a second historical current running beneath me. Somehow it escapes me to think about that when I am home.
well back to work. Chat soon.
CeCe--You have the most interesting way of looking at things! I admire that gift to be so open minded and to live and travel and live again. We all fall, but it is how we get back up and the stance we take that counts. Slan.
