Our practice started last night for the spring season. Its dark (cold and wet) at 6:30 so we bring our own flood lights to practice under. I'm in two drumlines myself. The drumcorps activity is growing in Europe, but it still has a long way to go to become as big in the US. In the US nearly every secondary school has its own marching band. Here, marching bands exist apart from schools, which is the main cause for the fairly little number of youngsters in the activity. I hope my corps will still exist after 5 years.
