Hurricane season was not bad for us, just a couple of days of heavy rain. We needed more!

I've always been enchanted by Selkies. Yes I have seen The Secret of Roan Inish, Great film! Also The Seventh Stream. While in sligo I met a fellow who made hand carved art of celtic myths and legends. He carved me a small relief Selkie that I have on the boat now.

Thank you for your sweet comments. Macu means big eyes. It's the nickname I chose for one of my cats. I miss her a lot and I can't see her anymore, so I chose her nick for me in the chat.
I prefer Fabia (my second name) to my first name which is Marcela. I think it suits me better.
About my English I must admit that I have study it just to read classic books in their original language. I never meant to use it in any other way, that's why it's so difficult for me to use it. I wouldn't if it wasn't for my love for Ireland, the chat makes me feel closer. I'm trying to learn a bit of Irish myself and on my own and even when I have plenty of time it's hard for me.
