I feel the same about Ireland, as you can see. I know the reason why I've always felt Ireland was my real home, I know it very well. But I didn't want to explain it on my profile, since it's something extremely personal and only a few people could understand.

I live in the south of argentina, in a valley with small mountains arounds that we call bardas. There´s a big river crossing the valley, the Río Negro. There´s photos of these on my page. I would really like know Irland someday. Have you been in Cork city?. (Sorry for my english grammar, I just speak a little english. I´m learning). Best wishes.

BTW, I spent 5 years as a Hearing Officer adjudicating unfair labor practice cases. You live in a beautiful part of the country. I've enjoyed Seattle, and *truly* loved Port Townsend, Washington!!!! If Gig Harbor is anything like Port Townsend, you're very blessed to be there! :-)

Thank you for the comment. My partner's family is from Cork, as well. I have been involved in the political side of things for nearly 30 years. It is my passion. Are there any Irish politic groups on this site?

The best one I know is Kells on SW 2nd. There's one in Oregon City called Paddy's Old Irish but I've not been there.

I do recommend Kell's. Great food, great beer and great atmosphere and service.

Hope you have a good visit. Portland is a really great area and lots of things to do.
