Ole.You are 100% correct in the name Yedaki.The Aboriginal people in the far North of the State of Queensland use this name although i`m not sure of their tribal name..
I live in the South East of Queensland,about 1600km from
that area.

Hello,Ole.I haven`t been to Eumundi,the little town nearby,where the Aboriginal shop is located since we last talked.I`m going there in a day or so & will ask when I`m there.
Incidentally,Eumundi is where we have a succession of Irish musicians playing.Lunasa/Sharon Shannon & others!!

I`m a bit embarrassed to say that I`m not sure if Yedaki is the ancient name for thr didge. There is a shop nearby which sells various aboriginal products & is run by Aboriginal people.I`ll enquire there next week. Cheers.
