"Nollaig Shona Duit", "Happy Christmas" and a Healthy, Happy and Prosperous New Year to you and your family............I will be leaving for Ireland on Jan 8 and returning on the 15th and I will be sure to post my pictures and of course have a few pints for you....talk to you soon
Hi again James. Just looked at your pix. Love the Belleek factory, I'm a big collector of Belleek. I saw that you had pictures of Sligo, that's where my husband's family is from. Well, take care and have a good evening. Talk to you soon!!
Hi James glad you enjoyed the pictures...I know, every time I look at them I just want to go home. We are going over in January 2009 for my husband's great aunt's 90th birthday. Should be GRAND. I see your family is from Belfast.....my daughter and I wanted to go North but unfortunately we ran out of time. Hopefully we will get there in Jan. I hear it's beautiful. Do take care of yourself and talk to you soon....Slainte..
Thanks for the caera infomation and the kind words about my photos. I am trying to finish up work for my classes and finally start my blog and post new snaps from June 2008 trip.
You have an incredible page--some of the most beautiful pictures I have seen; I was just over to Ireland this June--weather was lovely, but my pictures pale in comparison--what kind of camera are you using? By the way, welcome to LI!
Thanks for watching and enjoying my tin whistle vid, despite the lousy quality. I hope to record it with a better camera some day, but that may take a while still. I liked the jig myself too. I heard it on Youtube, and looked it up on a large database that has all kinds of traditional celtic sheet music. I practiced and, well, here I am.

James,
You know what they say about an 'Irish mile' . . . it's like an 'Irish smile', it goes a 'long, long way'! By the way, I originate from Belfast (Co. Antrim) . . . like your photos.
Regards . . .
thanks so much for the lovely comment on my photos. It is much appreciated and I'm glad you like them. Have to take some times on the weekend to have a look at your photos, too :)
