I am tripping over OBOD's here at home(there are 4 within 1,000 yards of my home!!) and there is a few ADF's here too. I have been to a couple of their gatherings. At Sawain we talked about the highway thru Tara. (Where I got married) Spent a little time living with the Chippewa too so I have developed a style all mt own...Still cool to see what some of the groups are doing
Thanks so much for the kind comments. Your music is LOVELY as well. (Is that yourself on the tin whistle?) We are planning our U.S. tour schedule at the moment but will be doing the whole Irish faire circuit in 2008. We will post on our MySpace site or here. Our CDs are available on our website at: www.thebridies.com <--it is currently experiencing technnical difficulties but should be up/fixed again any moment soon. :) Thanks again. Happy Holidays!!
yep another wanabe! I guess I have tried to study for the past 10 years, on my own, just a little bit with the Red Maple Grove here in Ottawa and vicariously with mt friends who are part of an OPG here too. Not too familiar with the groups. Lived a rural life without internet for a real long time and I am out of touch with the groups. Went "Native" and enjoyed living with the Anishnabe. Trying to explore my Celtic history now. Are you part of one? If so which one?
I see you are in contact with Brian...I just started writing with him too.
i am studing with the Keltran Druids. im studing to be a Solitary Druid because i dont live near a Keltran Grove. :D though because i am also a Shaman, being a Solitary suits me rather well. :)

Dabhoch,
Maybe we could get together some time. My wife and I could show you our latest pictures of Ireland. I also have lots of Irish music(I call it Trad, not Celtic). I live right behind the Dairy Queen.

Hey Dab,
My daughter who is acting in her schools rendition of The Music Man playing Mrs. Paroo, wanted me to ask you how you deal with stage fright. This is her first time playing a principal character and shes nervous. Any advice for her?
