If you are looking for great festivals in Ireland, try ot look on the tourist page for updates. Cork Film Festival, as well as Galway Art and Music Festival are two well attended and really fun festivals in the West/Souhthwest of Ireland. Not sure if this site will help, but check out:

Jump on I-71 and c'mon up. The festival is August 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Great music, Irish dance, food, and many Irish cultural exhibits. It's the 2nd largest Irish Festival. 95,000 in attendance last year. Check the festival website at www.dublinirishfestival.org. If you decide to come, get your hotel reservations ASAP. In conjunction with the festival we also have the Columbus Feis that weekend and some 1400 Irish dancers will be competing.
