Brendan, you had me going for a minute there. I have a friend with a son of your age and name. He too is a second gen. and lives in CA. Has a young son with the name Atticus.
No, I don't ride my Wolfies. I'm afraid to because they buck a lot when they play and run erratically.
Your pix are interesting. I love the distinguished looking elderly gentleman and the drop-dead-gorgeous little girl in the pink dress. What a charmer she is!
Is that a Malamute I see? Beautiful dog! What's his/her name?
And I want to live in the white cottage with the red door. Tell me about it.
Thank you so much. It's always nice to feel welcomed. I really appreciate it.
I noticed that you like to ride. I do to. I have a Ninja. Some day I hope to be able to ride the Irish roads as a resident as well. Have a great weekend!
Brendan ~ Unfortunately, I cannot cook. I especially cannot cook any of the things the Irish men seem to like, so that surely isn't going to work for me! I know you will make it over there and when you get there, you won't want to come back to the states, you will probably feel even more strongly about that because of your close heritage. Airfare now is quite reasonable, so don't put it off too long....and I heard a rumor that because of our economy and people not traveling as much, the deals in Ireland will get better and better. Maybe I'll see you there! Laura
Thanks for the website tip too! In case the "easiest" avenue fails, I may have to go to Plan B.... I hope you make it to Ireland soon. It is my favorite place on earth! When I am there, I don't even mind the clouds and rain..and typically I love the sun. But, as I have heard others say - it's never raining in the pub! :) *Laura*
I envy you being so "closely" Irish! My great-great grandparents were Irish that came to the U.S. so I have no hope of using that to be able to move to Ireland. I have to find a more creative way! I have an Irish friend named O'Neill - he is awesome and lives in southwest Ireland. Thanks for the compliment on the pictures, it doesn't do Ireland justice, but it is nice for remembering my trips. I hope to move there one day - hopefully sooner than later.....any tips are greatly appreciated since you are working on citizenship! *Laura*

I can tell who you are in the pix...and you're not THAT old!
I was referring to the distinguidhed looking elderly man with the pillow behind his head. Who is he? He looks like a kind soul.
Can I have your Grandmom's recipe for potato cakes? I love all forms of spuds.
