He's one of my "heroes" also. He autographed my copy of his book and sat at our table and chatted for a few minutes. He gave a very inspiring 20 minute talk to our group regarding the progress of our ultimate goal of reuninting the 32 counties and the role Irish America will have to play in achieving it. He's a real down to earth-regular guy!

I've got a lot of respect for the man and would LOVE to have met him when he came up here to the Bay Area.

We live in IB-a block from the beach-it's nice to go to sleep at night listening to the surf............

Hi Bill. Things are going well in the Old Pueblo. Funny, I moved here from San Diego in 2001...we did the switch. Sounds like you son will be going to see Flogging Molly in Tempe on St. Paddy's Day. I went to that show last year but can't amke it this year. The Dropkick Murphys are playing in Tempe on March 3rd though!

Roy is well-we just had our Christmas potluck at his house this past Saturday.
The weather here isn't very "warm"-rainy and 60's all week-but I guess compared to the NE I shouldn't complain.

Bill a cara, yes I have attended a couple INA events in San Diego. If it was at the same hotel as the AGM a couple years back then yes I was at that event. I like it out there so when Roy or Sean send out an event bulletin, if I can, I go out there. The Grand Canal is pretty fun but was just bought from John Somers. The two new guys will do a good job keeping it up. Hope all is well in that nice warm weather.

Dia Duit Bill, yes I'm a Sox fan. They breed us that way here in Boston. There are a lot of Fenians out in San Diego. I'm out there a couple of times a year. Hope all is well. Nice to meet you agus slainte chugat.
