Great you like Dutch. Great you're learning a foreign language. Many english-speaking people do'nt really feel the urge to study other languages, so I'm pretty surprised you do. But why Dutch, of all languages? It has some complicated grammar features which are hard to master. But then again, German is harder :)
Most people from abroad don't really find Dutch too pleasing to the ear and go for Scandinavian languages instead. But I'm willing to help and if you have any questions, I hope I'll be proficient in English enough to answer them, although I think I'll do fine ;)
Greetings and succes! I'll meet you in the chat someday :)

Hey Sean,
I use to have horses and work full time with standardbred racehorses. Now I work in a small animal vet clinic during the day and help a trainer when his horses race at night. I definitely miss working full time with the horses and am thinking about switching back if the right opportunity comes along.

Greetings from Florida, Sean and welcome to Live Ireland. Beautiful pictures, I'm kinda fond of the horse shots myself, heehee.
Are you a pilot where you mention "your" flights over Iceland?
Hope you enjoy yourself at this site and perhaps we can talk about horses in the chat room some time.
Hi Sean, great pictures! I've been to and around Doolin (walked the edge of the Clifs up to the tower then back down the road...forgot sunscreen...bad idea) I seem to remember looking at a school in Lisdoonvarna, or maybe it was just outside of the city...or maybe I'm way off! lol Anyhow, it was nice to see your pictures :-D
Yeah, I will travel some miles to Germany but I can combine it with a visit to some friends (one of them will do the first Reike degree as well).
I think I might do the second degree shortly after the first one... I am really, really curious. (I had three Reiki treatments so far and they made me feel really good...)
Do you have any practise in Yoga or do you meditate? Do you use Reike daily? Is it your profession? I know, quite a lot of questions....
By the way, I have just seen your beautiful photos...and I remember...you have those wonderful northern lights as well....I lived in ICEland for a year and used to see a lot of them there.
Are French and English your native languages?
My mother has got French ancestors but I am not fluent....
Do you speak Gaelic? Have you been to Ireland?
I'm just starting meditation a while ago... I took the initation of reiki to be able to be more grounded to the earth because here in Quebec it more difficult with all the snow and the ice it hard to stay in the focuse in the present, our mind is alway thinking about what we did or what we gonna do tomorrow... Reiki help you to stay focus in the present, something very important to me
Wow yo uwill travel far to get that initiation that good you should do degree 2 not too long after degree 1 because it goes together ... i have been initated degree 1 and 2 together because my master told me that the frist stage is the opening of energy and second one is the energy.. so when i initiate other people i do the same thing i initiate to the first degree and the second like the next day or the next week but you do what you want and what we feel confortable with :) In Quebec (Canada) it cost way less then in the USA. for the first and second degree it 300$ dollar Canadach .
Yes your health improve. sickness like headache, stomac eache and those kind of problem can be solve in minute ! ( for real)
Your physical health improve but your mental health improve too :)
Also when you initiated in reiki degree 2 something special happen, i won't tell you what it is tought. I do not want spoil the discovery :)
Well i wish you the best of enjoyement in praticing reiki, because above all the reiki must be fun :) a final advice it very good to be well grounded while praticing reiki. Enough said ! speak to you soonm bye !
Wow well that pretty cool... i did know from my research that reiki was available in Ireland but i did not know anyone who was interested in Reiki.
The degree 1 open yourself to the energy aroun dyou so you can see and feel the energy... degree 2 let you tranfer the energy of the reiki method with ease :)
I was been praticing reiki for about 10 years here in Quebec and i have teach too some person also. For my point of view Reiki help you to better understand yourself and the world around you. It not just a way to tranfer healing energy but a way to evolve also. If you are interested in personal growth i recommened you to read the book of the dalai Lama because this method, the reiki technique come from Japan but it is the work of thousand of years of pratice in Tibet from the monk of Ancient Tibet :)
