Muss dich enttäuschen aber meine aktive Zeit als Musiker ist leider vorbei. Zuviel zu tun in meinem Hauptjob. Allerdings hatte ich es mit meiner Band, in den 90'ern schon mal bis Hahn und Oberhausen geschafft. However, vielleicht trifft man sich mal bei einem Guinness in Ireland. Fiddle wise : There is no secret at all..! ;-)
After the very first 2 hours I've tried to play with that instrument, I simply felt in love with it... and it's been like that for over 30 years (I'm a bit stubborn too..!) My longest love relationship so far in life...!!! ;-)

Are you a musician yourself..? Ever try the fiddle..? Or like the fiddle sound..? If so, well... you're more than welcome to join into the *Just fiddling around* group..! ;-)

Wow, getting to go to Loreena M? That's awesome! Hope you can get the tickets. My kids want me to take them to a band that's coming here called the Dropkick Murphys. Not much into harder rock, but it's interesting to hear their celtic music. I'll just get a little cotton for my ears so the music won't be so loud. :) What kind of music do your kids listen to?

Lots of trees down, and a good portion of the city was without power yesterday and today. 2 teens were killed when a tree toppled onto the car they were in, but it could have been worse. There was an outdoor concert in the city park and an Arts Festival going on downtown when the storms ripped through. Other than that, we're safe and dry finally.

I've found out that I am not very good with working with digital cameras as I've seemed to erase all 200+ pictures that I took while on vacation. There was a few that I rescued, but as they are mini videos, not that good of a download. After this, I'll be sticking to regular camera pictures and let someone else do the digital work. *L* How have things been for you and your family?
