A hobby ranch...means you have a small plot of land (20 arces) and act like you are farmers or ranchers...but you lease out the land that is workable and have someone else work the land...cuz we lack the talent. Right now we grow alfalfa in the summer and have a small group of cattle on it in the fall and winter. Fun to watch the calves right now running and playing in the field. Yes we got to go to Ireland 2 summers ago now (seems so long now) and loved it! Felt I was home and with my people. the countryside it beautiful and the people friendly. I'm a teacher for elementary Special Education students (reading and math problems)...and it keeps me busy trying to figure out these little guys and helping them to learn. What do you do for a living?

Hi there! Sorry- I was leaving you a message last night when my computer froze up! I joined LI in June, I believe. Thanks for the compliments on the photos :-) I was there for my second trip in February of this year (first was in May/June '05). I have a lot more photos from that and the previous trip, but I haven't had the chance to upload them. How are things with you?
