Just thought of it... a pair of "chainsaw" gloves could be a great gift for you to ask to Santa Clauss this year...!
Have a good and quick recovery though... and maybe you should consider nylon strings on a classical guitar as a smoother start... ;-)
Thanks for the add. I laughed at the "square headed kilt-lifter".... that means you're Scottish, yeah? My DH and I just finished watching the entire series of Monarch of the Glen. Have you seen it? We started watching while we were waiting for the last season of Ballykissangel to come out on DVD.
San Diego is a great area! I graduated high school not far from that area, in a town called Poway!
Anyway, to answer your question My Mother needs me back home with the family! And alot of the more populated Areas of California are to much of a hassle to live in. Now that we have the internet it makes it so much better to keep in touch with friends, and shop! so it just made sense to come home and take care of family!!!
Most of the photos I showed are on film. They were taken with my old Minolta X700. I scanned them - only the selfs I took with a digital camera. I had a Olympus C 4000 Zoom - I was pretty satisfied with the camera, even though it wasn't a DSLR.
Now I use the Canon 300D - I got them from my husband when he bought himself a newer DSLR.
I still prefer to take photos with an analog camera, I think there is much more 'soul' in a picture. I can't describe it better. It feels different. But of course, once you have a digital SLR it is cheaper... no development costs any longer, it's easier to try new things without thinking about that. I know some photographers who are able to take photos digitally, but they caught the analog feeling, that is my goal for the future...
PS - an no, things are not going okay, it is pretty hard... but as always, I keep going and going and going...
I tried to go in the chat but all that happened was my screen complained about not having the plugin but the system couldn't find a plug in for it? any clues?
Omega thinks you guys are her kittens and that it's time you learned to fend for yourselves! She's being a good mother cat, teaching you. You know how we kind of look down on animals and think how lucky we are to be human-I think it's really the other way round!
I just need to clarify my understanding of Canadian English!
To me a pan is something you put on top of a stove and bake is something that you do inside of a stove, in a cake tin. You see my quandary.
Do I take the mixture and put it all in a cake tin and put inside the stove or do I pour spoonfuls of it into a pan on top of the stove? Or maybe all of it on top of the stove, like an omelette? You see I intend to test this "cornbread" out, (come the weekend whether raining or not)
