Jim and I are busy with the yard right now also...planting, maintaining the gardens. Trying to grow a giant pumpkin this year, we won the supplies to get going on it. Also trying to build a small running fall/stream into a small pond. Lots of debate on how to do it, need a few more boulders to get going on it.
Did go to Yosemite and hiked this weekend for my b-day...was thunderstorms...but temps were prefect. Saw bear, Dogwood, wildflowers and a view of the valley floor.
Hoping to make it to NY to see grandchildren and thinking about Canada again...loved it!
School District is STILL trying to figure out their budget and where to cut...I'm in a safe position in my job...but there will be changes. How is the economy there?
