Yes, it is indeed a very time consuming and tiring from Aust to Ireland or the UK. Each time I go back Malaysia for holiday, I always need at least 2 days to recover. :) Hey.. looking forward to see you soon..
Thankee, me dear..!! I was born & raised Christian (JV Catholic = Anglican) but me beliefs now lean toward the neopagan druid persuasion... with a bit of Universalist Unitarian thrown in... confused yet..?? I certainly am, but I'm happy with it..!! I have a Pug-Tzu named Peggy Sue - she's almost a year old, and feels she owns the house already..!! I should post her pic here... BTW, failte go LiveIreland..!!
Hi Fran!
I can tell that you and I are going to be fast friends. I am a devout (but not fundamentalist) Christian. I enjoy anyone who is creative - musically, artistically, or humorously. Our taste in music is parallel. Please post some pics of your jewelry. I would love to see it. Maybe I can mail you a jar of my honey :-). Take care. Rusty
Good question! I listen to quite a bit of Gaelige music, particularly Altan, older Clannad stuff, and a host of others. I've been picking up a few words here and there but recently I came across a BBC site that offers language lessons in Gaelige. Pretty basic stuff, but if you listen to it over and over and over you start to understand the conversations and get the pronounciation down. Don't expect I'll ever get the chance to use it, but it helps to keep the brain active. Reading/speakng and writing are all part of the process.
Hi Fran,
So were your relatives some of the Oz convicts? Hey, they could have been worse: part of the clergy, or a politician - maybe real bad, a "Tory politician". Sorry, sorry, I didn't want to ruin your night. LOL.
Smiles, Keith
The plug-in is Java. you can download it from here:
http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp
It just click the download link "Free Java Download". This link is for windows. I think it checks to see what operating system you are using before it installs and lets you know if it is not supported. Cheers, element
Haa Fran....probably not Canadian english...more likely man english. With man english it is much simpler (for most of us the simpler the better)...only eight colours to keep track of....salmon is for eating not painting your walls. Slan, element
PS: Stop by the chatroom sometime and say hi. It's often a good bit of fun and silliness going on in there.
One of our cats, Omega, has taken it upon herself to teach us to catch rats. She brings them in the house, live with very little damage, and then lets them go. Once she does that she will just sit there and purr and watch you frantically try and capture the dang thing. She is rotten to the core.
Long trip from next door to our "Land of Oz" (Kansas) to your Oz. You might look in the "Catster.com" site and may find local adoptables (they have an adoptable category). I have a contact in Australia and she has three beautiful cats she moved from the Netherlands about two years ago. I don't have my own site yet, but if I just get some more time.........I'd love to show my rescues and find some good homes.
Cheers,
Marshall
Fran,
The baking pan is 8x8 and about an inch and a half deep...or I guess it could be a cake tin
With my lot I usually double the recipe and they still just about clean it out. I have sent you the particulars by email. Cheers, element.
