Hi Carol,
I got 4 pheasant and 8 quail. We ate them while still in Kansas. They were great. I could eat quail for breakfast. It sounds like you are in for a tough Winter. You can handle it. We go bird hunting again after Christmas - ducks, geese, pheasant, Huns, Quail, and Chukar, I think. This place has wild waterfowl and pheasant. The other birds are transplanted in the Fall. Take care and have a great holiday season!

Hey Carol,
We have about 100 acres but we don't really farm it anymore. I just restored the tractor because it is old and unique. I will be at work on the 14th so I will say Happy Birthday to you on LI chat. We go pheasant/quail hunting in Kansas on the 25th and duck/pheasant hunting in Nebraska after Christmas. Then I have to get it in gear and make some money for next year! Take care.....

It is beautiful up here. Getting a bit cold, but you would think after living here my whole life I would be used to it huh.
Polar Bear rugs are expensive! That's to bad he ended up selling it, but if it's not something he was using I guess why keep it right? I'm not a huge bear fan, they are awesome animals, but also very dangerous. We always have stories in the paper about bear attacks, granted most of the people are stupid, but nontheless.

Mom, Well the dogs love their new doggie door. Jack almost got another squirrel.
Jack wasss upset when I took his hunt away. But, I really didn't want him to eat that gross thing.
