I'm glad the weather is behaving well with you, I wish you a peaceful and lovely Spring.
Here Autumn is coming, but winter here is not as freezing as there (Thanks God!) though it snowed in Buenos Aires last July 9th. for the first time in many many years (more than 50 years). We like snow but we are not prepared for such a wheather...
LOL, in spanish Spring is female, though no english dictionary can tell me if I can say sister spring or brother spring LOL.

Havent been looking for reciepes cept for dutch oven cooking types. I have several and need to learn how to use them. Love cast Iron.. Bill

Hi, Carol. I don't get much time to talk on the internet now days, being all married! No, my husband is from here in Derry. And I miss my family in Okie but not Okie itself! I love it here and feel more at home than I ever did in Oklahoma. I am now doing volunteer work at a community relations office involved with peace and reconciliatin works. In my free time I play golf (when the sun shines which it hasn't done much of lately) and have learned to quilt! There is currently an exhibit of quilts here in the city that are from Ireland as well as all over the world and reflects the use of art (quilting) to heal after the conflict of war. There are a few images on the Harbour Museum web site for here in Derry. Very interesting stuff. I feel very fortunate to have been a part of it.

ah yes it's tulip season... yes I've bought some for my girlfriend this week. Pink and Purple mixed.
I truely thought that news about the tooth in the eye was a hoax. I haven't seen it on the news yet. The weather is ok here, but treacherous at times: in the morning it's around freezing point, but after 10 o'clock in the morning the temperature rises about 10 to 15 degrees, which makes it hot for the time of the year, but with biting cold winds every now and then, and unexpected showers. but it is better than the weather you have up there. but hey, spring is coming... the best season there is. In my opinion

Hey Carol!! It's been a heat wave here - high of 31degrees F today. It's been running around 22 most of this week. Not much snow though, just a dusting. If it's going to get that cold this far south, it needs to snow!! :)

Wow Carol - I can't imagine -17! It has hit 11 here 3 nights in the past 2 weeks - cold enough. This is a great site - thanks for telling me about it. Stay warm!!

I am sure that we've passed a couple of times. How old are your grand kids? The Irish Fest here is not as grand as you might think. I wish they'd diversify it a little more and get a better marketing strategy. LOL
