Thank you for your comment about the picture of the forest (branche with dewdrops) nearby my house. To answer your question.... unfortunately I' don't live in Ireland, however my heart is in Ireland and so with my friends living there.
I live in the eastern part of the Netherlands in a small village surrounded by forest and moorlands. However most of the Netherlands surface lies below sealevel. The particular area where I live is about 600 mtrs above sealevel and the landscape is formed and shaped with hills and dales by the gletscher-ice during the last ice-age.
Because of the ice plowing and toiling the soil, digging dales and throwing up hills, the forest and moorlands here are quite looking like the landscape of particular parts of Ireland like Donegal and Connemara. The climate here with firm cold winds and lots of rain is the same as in Ireland. The same species of birds and wildstock lives and dwells in and through the forest. Therefore your question is justified: this picture might as well have been taken in Ireland. You didn't miss the Celtic atmosphere.
To show you more of this forest on the hillside next to my village (called Nijverdal, which means "Valley of hard labouring people" I will upload some more photographs of this, that I did make two days ago after the extra ordinary snowfall during last weekend!

Yeah, school's proving to be very difficult. My wife's also back in school, so between her and I both not having any spare time, our home can get pretty out of control. The cool thing is we both love learning. It's really fun! This'll be the end of my first year - fingers crossed. Finals are next month.
