Hey Ronnie! If you're ever in the Fresno area you've got to try out our new pub called The Public House. It's amazing!

Sounds like you have your work cut out for you! I am also torn. I am definitely out of Florida ASAP, and maybe over to this site's home at the end of next year. We'll see if I can get started on this extremely daunting to-do list!

Hi there. I have worked for a sole practitioner for the last three years, but I was at a larger firm in Gainesville, FL for about four years before that. There are good bits about both situations, but it is not ultimately what I want to do. What I DO want to do is the big question! Working on that...

It seems you are transitioning as we speak. Good luck!!

Thanks for the welcome. I'm starting my third (last) year this fall. Then I guess I have to join the real world.

My Ed.D. is in higher education administration. I work at a community college in Northern VA and oversee off site courses, business partnerships, etc. We're really lucky that we live very close to home in a land where commutes in and out of DC can be up to 3 hours for some people. Fortunately we both work at the same college. Hang in there with school. It will be worth it in the end and it's actually easier if you are both in school at the same time. I remember life being crazy when we were in that boat. Steal your moments for couple time when you can, they're important.

I am new to all this blogging so it has taken me some time to get used to all of this, accessing screens and stuff. I read your bio and discovered that you are going to law school part time. Wow, that takes a lot of dedication. I went to grad school part time for my doctorate and never could have managed without my husband. It takes a special kind of spouse to provide that kind of support. I'll post when I can.. at work right now, so I glance at my blog and see when I receive comments. Welcome to Live Ireland

Ronnie,

Not something I have ever done. Honestly wouldn’t know where to begin. On the guitar side I know a guy who spends every moment of his spare time building, repairing, setting-up and generally ‘dreaming’ about guitars. I go to him with my ‘problems’ (the guitar ones). Undoubtedly, you could find a similar guy for the mandolin. Maybe even on this site.

Walter . . .
