Hi Michael, How was your weekend?? Mine is just finishing, it was very cold here and I have just completed the LONG overdue task of cleaning out the garage!!!! Ewwww. Now for some well deserved R&R tonight. Thanks for being my friend. I randomly happened upon this site and LOVE it. I do have Irish heritage ( naughty political prisoner convict), and have briefly been to Ireland and loved it!! I will be back one day.
I just saw you photo of Blarney Castle. I loved it. One of my favourite places!!
How are you?, thanks for your words and for the pics, I like it very much!. Today, Spain play against Paraguay, all the people cross their finguers...hehehe. Thanks for all. I wish you a nice weekend and take care!. I hope to chat with you soon!. Slan!. Isa xxx
Thank you for the nice comment on my tat. The symbol is to protect one in battle and on the water. Seemed perfect. It's difficult to make out the cross on your arm.
Beautiful photos by the way.
St Brendans is in Bonivista Bay,a small island nine miles from the mainland.Logy Bay is just outside St Johns on the Avalon peninsula about three hours drive away, not including the ferry ride.I do hope you come home next year, you will be welcomed as a lost son for sure lol.I have an extra room if you need a place to stay or start so dont be a stranger as we say down home.
Hi Mike, thanks for welcomeing me in such a fine
manner. My great great great grandmother was married on the crossing in 1856 or 1857.As an interesting aside, there are two families of Croakes on St. Brendans and Mike and John are two names commonly given.Interesting huh.
