Absolutely. I don't know how old you are (I'm 64) but there was a book published in the 70's call The Bluegrass Connection. It was about the start of the organized drug trade in Kentucky in the 60's, especially around Lexington. A lot of the people I knew at UK were prominently featured in the story.
But I think both of us were thinking about the other Bluegrass connection, the United We Stand... kind of connection. Your screen name attracted my attention before I knew where you lived. It reminded me Odd Thomas.
What is your favorite bourbon. Mine was Maker's and then I discovered Jameson (which well may be finished in Maker's barrels). After that I discovered 18 year old Jameson at a pub in Ireland. I didn't have enough money to buy it over there even in the duty-free shop but I bought a bottle when I came home. $88 and that was a special deal. I toast life, death, war, peace and the fine memory of all those who have gone on. The level doesn't go down very fast.
