AND.. I am trying to find out why the playlist does not come up on the media player.. I thought certainly it used to.
Give me a bit of time to wiggle around and see what I can find on it.
I thought it might be Bill.. thats why I asked if it was more american folk.
Bill Staines was just here at The White Crow he is originally from New Hampshire I believe.
I am surprised his material is being covered on Irish Radio.
Bill is a major player in the American Folk music scene today.. he has written some fabulous songs like Child of Mine and Roseville Fair which I believe has been covered so many times its shocking He is probably MOST know here in the midwest but as you can see Performers from all over the world are drawn to his writing.
I am glad you found him.
Its always GREAT to "discover them" before theyve passed on!
Hello robert..
I would have to check out the Live radio section a bit and see if there is not a PLAY LIST available. But that is only good ifyou might recognize the title.
The best way to find a song that you dont know anything about is if you can remember even a section of a sentence in the lyrics and then you can do a google for it. I find many songs this way.. maybe I only heard four or five words of a line in it but if you type it in and add the word lyrics to your search you can usually pull up a title or two.
If you know some words in a row.. send them along and I will do my best!
WELCOME ABOARD! Please add us to your Friends and check out our New Group on LI called “MIDWEST IRISH”
We hope our paths cross many times
