Wonderful! How great to know there is talented celtic energy in Greenville, SC! We started out as Kilmoulis Celtic Band in the mid-90's and grew into Selkie Celtic Band to present. Been there, done that. We did produce two CD's during that time. I performed as lead singer, bodhran and some keyboard, Davis (hubby) lead singer, guitar, bodhran, whistle and other drums, David Boles, Harp, Hammered Dulcimer, mandolin, whistles then added on Don Shabkie piano/keyboard, Harp and then other cameo drop-in's with fiddle and uillean pipes, mandolin. The celtic musician community in Greenville county is growing, but not fast enough for me....; ) Selkie doesn't perform that much anymore except at well paying gigs like weddings and private company parties and the annual Burns nights here in Greenville. The repertoire is wide-range from renaissance, Breton, and the British Isles. You can hear a few samples of Selkie at www.myspace/selkiecelticband and http://www.upstateweddingmusic.com/selkiew.html
It'd be great to have you all over to the house sometime. Again, I love your music and look forward to getting acquainted.
