buongiorno Auren,
how are you? Haven't heard, read or seen anything from you in a long time, so I thought I'd check up on you.
I spent two weeks in Italy in July. Lago di Garda, of course, that's where all the dutchmen go.
How have you been lately?
hi Aurehen.i just stoped by to say hi.i have been working on a new film the last few weeks.and i havent had a change to talk to anyone.any news on your end.tony
Hey Carmen!!
Sounds like you had a great time, I'm delighted for you, having dinner with one of your favourite musicians!! If you find my eyebrows any where, please send them back to dublin, I miss them!!!

You can get the dvd through their website (but you probably already know that) and this might be a strange idea: if you write to them at info@omnia-neocelt.com and tell them about the festivals in northern italy they might be crazy enough to contact the festival people there and you might have a concert in Italy !!?!?!!?
What you could also do is contact the festival people from northern italy yourself, talk to them, send them a copy of one of omnia's cd's and see what they think !?
Or you could come to holland in August, the first weekend of August is Castlefest. Omnia will play for three days straight and it's the greatest festival you've ever been to. Take some friends and stay in a nearby hotel or camping, make it a holiday. It's great!!!
Do you know their forum on omnia-neocelt.com by the way? It has a dutch section and an international section. Then you can talk to more Omnia crazed people ! :-)
Met mij gaat het prima. Met jou? I'm having an exam tomorrow, about Intercultural Communication. I do get a lot of practice here :)
There are times I'm here almost every day, but it could also happen I won't be here for months. You probably know what I'm talking about.
So I'm here now, anyway :)
Do you have all their cd's and their new dvd already? The dvd is very nice and it does give an impression of their concerts, however, they were very nervous for the recording of the footage for the dvd, and it shows !! :-) Normally, they play much more vibrant and less "organised". There's more chaos on stage :-).
On the cd "Alive" at the end of the song "the Raven", have you heard the sobbing? That's Steve crying. The song was recorded two days after his mom died. They taped it in one take. Jenny on the harp and Steve singing. At the end he just started crying.
The cd was first sold at the Castlefest festival here in the Netherlands in august 2007. I bought the cd on the first day, listened to it in the evening and i got a lump in my throat when i started listening to "the Raven".
On the second day of the festival I saw Steve and told him about this. And that's when he told me the story i just told you.
So it's incredible, how much emotion can come across through a cd...!
Yeah, Omnia is one of my favourite bands! I've known them for about six years now, they're really nice people and i love their music.
The music by Dead can Dance is lovely by the way, and so are your photos !!
Hope you do well with the exams!! Languages were never my strong point, even though I studied spanish in college, all I can remember is "hola, mi nombre es herardo", Thats great for two years study!!
my soul shall always be in Ireland, it calls to me. I have been there - the home of my ancestors - only time I ever felt 'home', can't really explain it. Once again, love you photo's and web site, hope all is well
