Thanks for beautiful thought of walking through the woods to a dinner party!! No heels, I gather, hehe.
My husband had his accident years before we got together. He was only aged 20 and I would have been 14. He was older than I.
I was smart for my age. We got along great. He was the brother of my sister's husband. Easy to meet up !! Family gatherings, weddings....
Thanks for the remembrance of Denis!
Hi Schley,
I have been to Ireland three times. Once as a 13, spent 5 weeks there with my Mom's people in Galway. Had a blast. It was in 1974, my mom's relatives did not have electricity nor running water. So, for 5 weeks I washed my hair in the clear stream and dried it in the wind. Great! Bathroom situation, well, that did not exist, so I was glad I was a kid! My older sister, in her mid 20's hated it.
I am glad I experienced that life in my lifetime. It makes you appreciate what we have in the US. Other parts of Ireland had electric and running water but my Mom's family did not want it. So...? have no idea why?
Glad you sent a message. As for what I have done in my life, it only has been medical jobs. Now, I took a break and living a happy life taking care of fancy chicken breeds. I am a widow with two college aged boys. I would be happier if my husband did not pass away but...he did so.. He was in the Air Force, had an accident, was paralyzed, developed hep C from transfusions in the Air Force for his broken back. He passed away after a horribly gone wrong liver transplant. If I was a millionaire he would have gotten a better liver..but at the time with two small kids, everything just went bad. That's life.
thank you for adding me to such a list!! the photos are beautiful. and whimsical.....my soul longs for the space to breathe such as this.. .. .

The party was great! Everyone had a wonderful time. I just got back to Florida last night. Its going to take me a few days to get things in order, moving my stuff from one farm to another but I'm looking forward to it. How are things with you?
Hi Schley, thank you for the friend request. I love your photos, they make me realise I should be getting out of Dublin more often and heading off into our wonderful countryside! Take care until we meet again, Cheers, Ann
You have beautiful photos. The profile picture of me is taken sitting on a stone wall in front of Galway Bay. My Mom was born close by this scenic ocean view. She spoke Gaelic too. Dad was born in Ireland, as well. Leitrim, not as pretty as Galway though.
Hi there! You would go into the gallery of your pics, and from the gallery, click on the one you want to delete. That will give you editing options, including the option to delete it. Good luck, and give a yell if you have further questions.
Thankyou so much for adding us to your friend list!
We just came through Kentucky on Wed. on our way back from the Mississippi Irish Festival. You had Beautiful weather there..unlike the rest of the areas we had traveled through. So I can imagine a bike ride would be GREAT!
