Rickie O'Neill:Young Drummer Exposed

Meet this young man, drumming all over Dublin. He is making a good impression. His video is getting a lot of buzz. Rickie O'Neill, a drummer from Claremorris, Ireland has what it takes to hypnotize bystanders making even the jaded ones fall in love with drumming.I tell ya this guy has has a hand of a helicopter rotor.

He has a band called Silver Circus ( http://www.myspace.com/silvercircus4). When asked about his involvement with the band, his reply: Yes that's us, I started getting involved in session work as I wish to do that full time!

....the songs you hear on our myspace page are all very old and we wrote them when we were very young!it was 5 years ago roughly!

When asked about his musical plans:

Well I hope to go to London to get a degree next year (2011).But for now I am going to help a friend record an album.I will hopefully make another drumming video but it will be something completely different! I am giving drum lessons which will start on the 20th of September.I have a few projects to do in Dublin also! I also have gigs with silver circus so I will be pretty busy!
