It looks like the esteemed Irish actor will take a 5 year break to his Annamoe hideaway in Co Wicklow after winning his third Oscar in Lincoln. Annamoe ( Irish: Áth na mBó, meaning "Ford of the Cows" ) is a small tranquil village situated between Roundwood and Laragh on the road to Glendalough. If you ever visit Glendalough from Dublin, Annamoe is on the way and is worth a stop off especially for the local trout farm and tea rooms with scones and honey straight from the bee hives. The honey has a special flavour from the gorse and heather that grows abundantly in the area.
Factoid: Dubliners call the local Luas light train public transport system "The Daniel Day" Luas
