Canadian astronaut tweets "Dublin glowing at night" in Irish

Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfeild made history by being the first person to use the Gaelic language from outer space.
Hadfeild tweeted a photo of Dublin at night with the following tweets:
“@Cmdr_Hadfield: Tá Éire fíorálainn! Land of green hills & dark beer. With Dublin glowing in the Irish night.”

This was followed by Irish twitters:

“@CilliandeBurca tweeted “Maith Thú A Cheannasaí! Nice to see there's some Gaeilge in space! :-)”
“@LaurenNiCuinn tweeted “is maith liom do cuid gaeilge. Go raibh maith agat!!!”

Hadfeild's daughter is studying in Dublin so we reckon this was his inspiration behind the cupla focal.

Update: Chris Hadfeild's daughter Kristin, a 26-year-old PhD student at Trinity College’s School of Psychology, says that he will visit Dublin after his latest Space stint
