Irish Internet Radio and TV from Dublin, Ireland.

So - To Ireland I went.

I tried to catch a Leprechaun, or a cute Irish man, but ended up catching a cold instead!
I guess I didn't really try hard enough for the man, but to my defence I was distracted by other things...like Butlers Chocolate stores!!! Oh my word, their mochas are the best (especially if you ask for marshmellows on top) and they give you a lovely little piece of chocolate just for ordering something!
It was a whorlwind trip, and except for the cold I had a great time!

Comment by Gregory on January 16, 2008 at 19:13: Well what do you want to see. I visited Newgrange and Tara and lots of Dolmen. Loved Dingletown and the peninsula. Tripped over Standing Stones and henges. Popped the question at the Gallarus Oratory. Missed Dublin. Visited most of the leathersmiths and a few bodhran makers on the island. Lost the car in Cork and killed it out on the Connemara. Mostly stayed in B&Bs but did one hostel in Galway after killing the car.

Comment by O'Carroll on January 5, 2008 at 18:45: Our family of five can recommend "Sleepzone" hostel. We stayed at the one in Connemara, which is WAY into the beautiful country. Our daughter, Fiona, saw numerous selchies at sunset. Then we stayed at the Galway site. They even have a bus that will take guests between the two locations... one right in Galway city, near Eyre Square and the pedestrian streets, the other deep in the quiet of Connemara.
