I'm looking for any McManis that comes from a King Magnus. I would like to know why the name was changed, any records, pictures and the first McManis to come to the US. and any family history that could help.

I'm looking for any records, pictures, dates, anything that can link the McManis family back to King Magnus. Why the name was changed would help also and who the first McManis in the United States was and how they arrived and when and where would also help.
