WOW..!!

We moved the show to the Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts in Dover (an elegantly refurbished movie theatre) for the final production on Saturday, Oct. 20 - We were in there from noon until 10 PM, rehearsing, setting the stage, rigging sound & lights, going over entrance and exit routes, etc., etc. - a grueling day..!! It all turned out to be worth it, though, as we sold out the orchestra section and a few balcony seats..!! The director said we may actually have made…

Well, my first time blogging -

"The Hobbit" opened Saturday and the crowd was nearly a sellout..!!! The director said it was the first time the Children's Theatre EVER sold balcony seats..!! Dress rehearsal on Thursday was a train wreck, Friday's rehearsal went much better - and, as often is the case, the MAGIC happened on Saturday - the kids were absolutely phenomenal..!! (and the old man remembered almost all his lines and cues)
