My father taught me how to tell a story, a good one.

I am a story teller. It is an art I learned from my late father. A magician in the late 30’s and early 40’s, he was one of the “tall grass magicians”, so named because they worked in the United States Midwest. Five years ago today, I kissed the Blarney Stone

I hadn't planned on doing anything so tourist-y, but we couldn't get to Kinsale and we found ourselves in Blarney--or rather, in a B&B looking out over Blarney town--and the next morning it just made sense to stop and see one of the most famous sites in Ireland.
