To all the lovely folks...

I'm sorry that I wasn't participating for so long. But there were some things I had to cut down due to lack of time. Hopefully it'll get better soon.

Thanks to all who wrote - I will answer, soon. I promise.

I'm looking forward to fog and dew and new autumn photos...

Chicago Gaelic Park Irish Fest--May 22-25, 2009

So why am I talking about that festival? Only because I'm going to be there, with the Irish Wake exhibit! More info as it comes about, but I hope to meet up with some of the "County Cook" Irish there!

Giant Squid Top 100

Just about the time I made my last post here almost two months ago, I realized if I worked at it, I could get to 100 lenses (web pages) on Squidoo. Annie Moore

The Irish blue limestone grave marker for the real Annie Moore will be dedicated tomorrow, October 11, 2008 in Calvary Cemetery, Queens, New York. The heroine of the song "Isle of Hope, Isle of Dreams" lived a simple, quiet life married to a baker, with whom she had ten children, five of whom survived to adulthood. Descendants of two of those children live on.
