From Friendship

I was looking this over and realized that I hadn't been here for quite a while. The poem below was something that I had written to Tammy the first year we were dating. However, we are divorced now. To all my friends here that helped me through the tough times, I thank you.

While we are no longer husband and wife, for the most part, the poem still stands true. We are still best friends and doing whatever we can to make life good for our son.

sorry for the delay

wow, well i know i havent been here for awhile, life seems to get in the way of the simple pleasures i allow myself. i do plan on frequenting here again much in the months to come. hope everyone is well and enjoying summer!

Dervish Gets a Squidoo Lens

I completed my second Squidoo lens today (Tuesday), a lens for Dervish, an Irish traditional music group. I now have a total of 34 lenses on Celtic Music covering 24 artists and groups, two radio stations and eight video showcases.

Danú Now Has a Squidoo Lens

Several days ago I added Danú to a list of Celtic music groups I wanted to do a Squidoo lens for, and this morning (which is early afternoon Irish time, btw) I set about to get it done. I had it about 75% complete when it was time to take a break and listen to and watch Louise Molony's show on LI. Learning about Newgrange

During Klara's Monday evening broadcast this week, a message from Daithi said he was testing transmissions from Newgrange. I'd heard the name, but didn't know anything about it, so I looked it up on Wikipedia. It's a restored Neolithic passage tomb that's 5,000 years old, with the passage aligned to admit the sun down a long passage into the interior on the morning of the Winter Solstice.

Summer of my discontent!

So, this summer is all about the bad finances and starting a debt reduction plan. I have had nasty phone calls and despite having made an arrangement with AT&T, they turned the phone off anyway. So, communication is a flop, too. I am in the midst of summer classes and paying for them, mind you. I also have reduced income because of taking 2 weeks off work to take classes.
