A Couple of Additions to my Celtic Music Series of Lenses

Since my Celtic Music: Lenses lens on Squidoo was named a Lens of the Day on March 16, I was pleased to see it get into the top 100 lenses on Squidoo. It got up to number 12 and hovered at 12 and 13 for over a week. While it was great to break the top 100 after almost a year and a half on Squidoo, its position at 12 and 13 tantalized me. Would it break into the top 10?

I decided over… Continue

The leaving of Louisville

Wow. Okay, I'm running around like crazy trying to get props for Dearly Departed at Bunbury together along with cast needs, all the while preparing for my audition, packing and still trying to fit everything in before I catch the train.

On my way!

Dreams Of Spring by Deborah A.Sears

Let us hear the sounds of Spring!

What joys it will bring. Rebirth

Awakening to all things new.

Flowers starting to give their bloom.

Birds chirping sweet melodies.

Listen to the frogs at night.

Sounds an ear's delight!

Last night I dreamed of Spring.

Alas' when I awaken it was here.

Bask in its wonders and beauty.

Enjoy it and make memories.

Happy Spring!… Continue

I missed this place...

Thanks to all for the lovely b-day wishes. They were much appreciated.

It's not easy for me to come back, my life is still not the way I want it to be. I miss Ireland and it hurts to know that I had the opportunity to go back for a one week vacation - but I can't. My job is still at stake, due to the financial crisis we only have a 'four days week', that means the lack of some of my income is hard to catch (hope that term is correct).

And - my 'soon to be ex-husband' and I once had a… Continue

Home from Birmingham

Well. I managed to pick up an infection on my trip to Birmingham. As a result, my audition was more difficult than I would have liked. Still I got nibbles from Clemmons Casting (they cast touring companies) and Theatre by the Sea in Rhode Island.

I also managed to get some rough videos to Landau Talent for a cruise ship job singing and playing the guitar. They are of poor quality, but here they are:

Me and… Continue

Celtic Music: Lenses on Squidoo - Lens of the Day!

When I got up this morning (which is the middle of the afternoon for you folks on the other side of the pond) I was just expecting to get in a new blog post about a Squidoo lens I'd published yesterday. But when I checked my email, I noticed I had a lot of comments posted somewhere on my Squidoo lenses. It turned out the dozen comments were all on my Celtic Music: Lenses lens which had been named… Continue

If I lived in Fulton

Up late last nite playing my heart out

at a pub called Paddy Malone's

When in walked the man I shared

much of my life with

then I noticed he wasnt alone

When he looked at me it was hard to believe

any time had passed at all

I just wanted so badly to get up and leave

but instead I just played my next song

and if I lived in Fulton

I'd be home right now

maybe tending a garden

from the seeds of our love

if either of us had… Continue

Hey, everyone!

Sorry it's been so long since I've been on. Spent December in Germany and Paris, then back to the US where had to take care of an ailing daughter...we nearly lost her, but she's doing so much better now.

Hope all are doing well, and looking forward to a GREAT St. Patrick's Day...My husband and I will be hosting our annual St. Patrick's dinner for close friends with Irish cuisine and music...always a great time. Continue
