Our selection of songs were Your Last Goodbye by Bruce Moss, When Irish Girls Grow up by Tom Russell, Sixteen for Awhile by Celtic Connection, Caledonia, Black Velvet Band…

Tonight is a lunar eclipse that I will be in the perfect position to view. If it weren't for the clouds. Completely clouded over so nothing is visible, no moon and no stars. The one time here we don't want it to rain.
One thing I've noticed about Arizona: We can have no rain for months on end, except for when you make plans. Like about two years ago nothing fell out of the sky (and I mean
nothing) from November to February/March. But it still rained on St. Patrick's…

MyLiveIreland member,
Rebecca Gresty and our music writer Bill Margeson recently made contact in our chat site. Rebecca had a demo of her voice up, and Bill heard it. He loved it! He and Rebecca made contact. Bill then asked for the four-cut demo in cd format, and this week played one of the cuts on his American Public Radio programme based out of Chicago! Bill loves her voice so much that he stated that he would play…

We have been getting lots of snow lately, here in Wisconsin. And just a much complaining. But I wonder how many people know that the snow is good for the environment. When it melts is seeps into teh ground and fields, getting the crops started. Excess runs into the rivers and lakes, which many are low these days.
Many farmers need it to start the crops. Crops that don't get a good start can drown in the spring rains. Many lakes and rivers are low to the point you can't even lauch a…

So this may be a dumb or obvious question, but is there a good list for irish music performances? I'd love to see who is playing in my area.

What
should I be doing? Well, I
should be editing/rewriting my massive-research-essay-project analysis-thing . . . however, I've somehow convinced myself that my last hour before my brain reboots would be better spent blogging and making my mark on my LiveIreland page that I've sadly been neglecting lately. School keeps me plenty busy, but my hobbies and obsessions make sure to never let me have any down time, which is fine since I'm not to fond of my…

As most of you know our dear friend Leven from Live Ireland. She and her son received some tragic news this past week. Steven's father passed away on February 5, 2008. She asked me to let her dearest friends know. I know that most of you have known Leven for a few years now and she has become like a sister to me. This is a difficult time for her so please take the time to offer your condolences and your prayers would be appreciated. I have included a link to the Funeral Home which posts…

It is so beautiful
Is it getting better?
Or do you feel the same?
Will it make it easier on you now?
You got someone to blame
You say
One love
One life
When it's one need
In the night
One love
We get to share it
Leaves you baby if you
Don't care for it
Did I disappoint you?
Or leave a bad taste in your mouth?
You act like you never had love
And you want me to go without
Well…

Nicolas is always right, and even if sometimes he is wrong, it is that he is right to be wrong

Now I am going ti study celtic dances in Moscow - jigs, reels etc.
It would be my second experience in this area of life.
And what kind of music could you recommend me (groupes, folk singers, fiddlers, etc..)
Possible, De Dannan..
