About Me:
Stephen O' Connor a well-known and well established musician. he started playing the Uilleann Pipes at the young age of 11, Stephen has been thought by some of the countries finest musicians such as Sean Og Potts, John McSherry, Eamon De Barra, Alan Doherty and Paul Mg Grattan. when Stephen graduated from school he got accepted by BallyFermot College Of Performing Arts. Stephen studied intensely under Master Flute player Paul mg Grattan. Though out his time college, Stephen met up friend and fantastic musician Paul Browne(also featured on L.I). Through out his two year attendance Stephen was fortunate tour in Lorient in Brittany in 2008 Stephen graduated form college and started his life as a young musician. It wasn't long until Stephen started giging every night in Dublin's well known Templebar and becoming a resident musician in the great pub Oliver St. John Gogarty's, in this pub Stephen got the opportunity to play alongside great musicians Andy Leighton, Barra MacAlister James Riley, Stephen Noreen and Des Leech, Paul and Dave McNevin, Cian O' Sullivan, Gerry Phelan, Dermot Kenny, j.P Kallio, Isaac Alderson, Bill Martin, Sean Loonan, Alan Doherty, Eamon De Barra, Mick McNamara, Michelle O'Brien, Roz & Joanne McVeigh, and many more. Stephen also spent his spare time presenting live radio show LiveIreland and loved every minute of speaking to people around the wolrd with fellow presenter Daoiri Farrell . Stephen was spotted by a man called Michael Durkin Owner, Creator and Director of the award winning show 'Gaelforce Dance' in November Stephen began his first experience of life on tour, in a short month he visited Czech Republic, Poland, Russia, Latvia and Lithuania. Stephen returned to Dublin in December and again played localy until he was once more asked by Michael Durkin to tour and perform in his new show 'Dance Masters' the tour would take him through out Germany performing in front of sold out crowd every night from January till April 2009. While on touring in Germany Stephen received an offer form former Gaelforce dancer and creator of the Rhythms Of Ireland a man called Mark Rafter. Stephen finished his time in Dance Masters and returned home on April 6th but with little rest to be had Stephen packed his bags and started his new show on April 10th as would travel to Melbourne ,Australia to join the show The Rhythms Of Ireland. Stephen is still currently residing in Australia until late September and hopes to re-join Dance Masters again for a 6 month tour of Germany.

There's a young brother/sister duo from my town who just did a small tour through your area there. They're real up and comers and sound great. I don't think that they're on the LiveIreland music rotation yet. How can I submit their info for consideration?

Hi! You play pipes well. One of my friend organized meeting or session of Moscow Uilleann Pipers. When Paddy Keenan was in Moscow my friend and Paddy decide to make this organization. It is like branch. :)

Our group play Scottish folk with accordion and small pipes, whistle guitar and of course fiddle.
