Reprogram Yourself

The voice in the back of your mind that chatters away about useless and random things throughout the day is known as the internal dialogue. It says things like "I'm hungry; wow that person is attractive; ouch my back hurts; maybe I should go to the store later on; I wonder what my friend is doing right now" etc. Such mental chattering to oneself is really a huge waste of energy and only serves to maintain one's focus on the physical realm and everyday life. THAT is what the internal dialogue is… Continue

Mind & Peace

by Ajaan Suwat Suvaco & Translated from the Thai by Thanissaro Bhikkhu

Peace means letting go of mental objects so that nothing comes in to disturb the mind. All that's left is a nature devoid of fabrication. Even the nibbana we want to reach is nothing other than a peace not fabricated by conditions. As for the peace we develop through various techniques by which the mind gathers into concentration, or gathers into stillness, that's the peace of the mind gathering in. It st… Continue

Stopping the Monkey Mind

by Mantak Chia

Western science has discovered that when people are heavy thinkers, when they worry a lot, when their thoughts dwell on anger, jealousy, hatred, or other negative emotions, their brain activity can consume 80 percent of all their total body energy. The brain is a heavy user of energy and when it begins to use its energy, it doesn't stop unless it is told to. The rest of the body is left with only 20 percent of the energy to use for all the other intricate functions… Continue

The Mechanics of Wealth

By Dr. Keith Scott-Mumby

A lot has been published about the motivation of success but very little about understanding the mechanics of wealth. The big secret is hidden in a famous little 18th-century classic book by oaty Scots philosopher Adam Smith. It is called "An Inquiry Into The Nature And Causes Of The Wealth Of Nations," nowadays just shortened to "The Wealth of Nations."
Smith published it in 1776, the year of American Independence, which is interesting, because if anythin… Continue

Hi Owaiss!

How have you been? Thanks for the magnificent picture you left me on my page! Looking at it was felt a sensation of infinite fullness, and it was so great!!! Thank you!
We should never forget of this, but sometimes life take us and make us to be so immersed on things of life that we stay away, and almost forget how we need to keep focus on what life really is. It is hard to be able to rise our conscious level when we are drag by problems, all kind of work that its need to do, and concerns.
Lately the hours of the day seems not enough, and can not find time to meditate, I really need that school ends soon, to start to have time for me.

Hope all is well with you, and wish you a great weekend!

Take care,
Sónia
