French boy, 19, who's working in the French Army. I've got some Irish origins (from Tipperary) and soon, i'll can walk in the streets of Dublin ! (Julyyyy !)
Hi Willsdorf, always good to hear from a comrade-in-arms. I was an enlisted man in the Infantry for seven years, 1951 - 1958 ( ended as a Staff Sergeant - reconnaissance squad leader). I was then commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant, Infantry Rifle Platoon Leader. I served in that job for a year and then was converted to a Combat Engineer. Spent 13 years as a Combat Engineer and retired as a Captain in 1972. Loved the U.S. Army back then, but I'm glad I'm not in it now. What is your job in the army?
