About Me:

I'm a foreign born citizen of the Republic of Ireland. The last visit to family and friends in Clonakilty and Carraig Thuathail, Ireland was August 2003. I hold a doctorate in Psychology and presently work for the University of Victoria as the Indigenous Counsellor.I am Cherokee Indian as well as Irish. I hope to do a job and maybe house exchange with a counsellor/or other university/college professional staff person in Ireland sometime.

Yes I know of Stephen Greymorning, We(you & I) proved better then Six degrees of separation! When Stephen was here at UVic he was working in another faculty which now has another Cherokee originally from Oklahoma Dr. Jeff Corntassel. There are two other Cherokee faculty members here as well. My parents now live in Broken Arrow, OK, but I have family here in western Canada and County Cork specifically Clonakilty and Carraig Thuathail as well.
How's living in Ireland?
Recently our local news featured a study by a professor from U of BC on what cities in Canada have the happiest people ; we in Victoria were at the bottom and the most eastern provinces had the happiest cities! If Ireland were a city I think it would be at the top for all the happy and friendly people I met there when I visited family and friends in 2003!

Donald a regular form Liveireland is site manager for this event.. I had car trouble and ended up in a disaster....It would ahve been grand to go as I understand there are many Renasaunce Fairs throught the usa. Do so hope you enjoy this site ., look about as all the folks and you shall meet some grand people and lots of great music etc to share.

It is probably a long shot, but do you happen to know a Stephen Greymorning who has taught some there? He is a linguist specializing in Native American languages. He's an old friend from way back in Oklahoma. Also, before I left Oklahoma, I worked as a mental health counselor, so we have a bit in common there.

Hope you enjoy liveireland. It's been a great place for me to induge in my love of Irish music and continue to listen even though I now live in Ireland!
