- I am 55. Love anything related to outdoors, especially fishing. My Irish roots go back centuries. I have the last will and testament by my great great ....grandfather Relph McGee, dated 1770. He and two brothers immigrated to America as boys from County Antrim in the early 1700s. I grew up in western North Carolina which is deeply steeped in Scotch Irish heritage. I have visited Ireland on two occasions and immediately fell in love with the country. My wife and I took our son Ryan to Ireland last summer for a high school graduation gift.
