Had a ? for you or any Irish...I saw a story on History Channel a few years ago about a man who was lured or tricked into following a beautiful sound from a woman in a field to an underground world...he followed her pretty far and decided on turning back. She tried to keep him but he ran...she chased him down with an object wrapped in white linen or some white cloth and told him to take it, but not look at it until he ran all the way out and not to turn around. He ran through the field and… Continue

Hey gang, following an accident at work back in November, I was afraid of the injury to my back following running my head into an overhang, falling backwards, landing with my spine perfectly centered on the edge of the stairs, which flung me forward, knocking the wind out of me and gashing a pretty large cut in my head...not forehead but top of my head. I could not breathe or talk...that really panicked me. I did not even realized I landed on the steps until, they asked if I was alright...and I… Continue

I just got your message from 4 months ago! My boss googled my name which brought him to this page which I had totally forgotten about. My dog is BAD! she must be a border collie mix of sorts..I got her from a rescue. She has severe separation anxiety...chews a lot of things in a bad way. But, she is awesome at chasing squirrels unfortunately though I don't really like having a bunch of dead squirrels around and so I try to discourage that sort of thing.

The most beautifull place that I've visited is the peak Mt. Fuji. The most magnificent en peacefull place on Earth... The rest I found their cannot be compared to anything else I've ever seen tasted or felt. Japan was the trip of my life, it gave me a different view about alot of things. It's the land of my ancestors. It's my real home, my Way of Life, I found myself...

How about you? Did you find yoursef on one of your travels?

Greetings to you World Traveler;) Nice to meet someone who also loves walking the pathways of nature and gives his body and soul in exchange for adventure and nature's beauty!

oh, I have been trying to get into the chat, for some reason, it is not loading...I have tried and will continue to do so. Ever see the American documentary on Animal Planet, called "Grizzly Man"? It really reminds me of a friend I had -- kind of hyper but a kind soul. He lived with and interacted with bears -- not sure the type so I will not guess and dictate or type what I think they are ...even had a little red-fox friend he protected and helped feed...he was eventually killed and eaten alongside his sad and it was a visiting bear and not the ones he had gotten used to...well they are wild and you can't put anything past them, despite people thinking animals are pets...many are not and I work with birds alot but they are animals and continue to use their adaptations and skills to behave that way
