About Me:

My father's family is of Welsh descent and my mother's Irish. Both sides of my family were early-day pioneers in southeastern Colorado. I was born In Pueblo, Colorado, and grew up in Boone, Colorado. This small town was named after Colonel A.G. Boone, the grandson of Daniel Boone. He was the Indian agent on the Cheyenne/Arapaho Reservation there.

My wife, Carmen, and I have one son, Brendan Jerome, who is a pilot. Both of us are teachers, and I am now retired after 30 years, teaching French and English. I have a Master's Degree in both languages. I had the wonderful opportunity to live and work in French-speaking areas of Europe and live for awhile in France.

Carmen was a teacher with the Peace Corps in Malaysia. We taught in Japan from 1974 to 1976. We were fortunate to have traveled in many countries in Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.

Carmen will retire in two years, and we want to go to Ireland. My maternal family are the Trainors, who came from Meath and West Meath.

Favorite Music:

All Rock and Roll; classical; Irish: traditional and contemporary; French, my favorite Country Western stars and groups; American folk music, and any type of music that takes my fancy.
