etc etc etc...This tune was the basis for The Star Spangled Banner even if it was penned by a Yankee lawyer on an English ship. No one wanted that war but the banks. Americans dont get it . It has to be performed Celtic style for all the words to fit the music. Upbeat,uptempo like the drinking song it first was with rebel attitude. Seriously its about fighting English assholes. singing it like a church hymn dosnt work with all the poems 4 verses and thats why people hate to sing it anymore.(coming to You tube as soon as i get a good video camera with decent sound)
