“I will remain patient as it’s only just a matter of time for me to shine”. Sarah Mulligan.

For I am a petite young lady from Dublin who is often accused of living in an illusion. I stand by this quote when I feel others are trying to suppress/control me with their negative comments. “The World lies in the hands of those who have the courage to dream and those who take the risk of living their dreams - each according to his or her own talent". Paulo Cohelo.

Sarah Mulligan (Molly Munroe) Irish Actor, Singer,Burlesque Performer and Writer.Ms Munroe studied in three different Collages throughout Ireland, she has a City & Guilds Diploma in TV/Film Production and is a full member of the Actor’s Union. Molly has appeared on the Podge and Rodge Show twice as a bikini babe.As the glamorous waitress in Mike's restaurant in Fair City for the past six years,Molly's days are now numbered in Ireland as bigger and better opportunities await her.
The first film Molly Munroe ever wrote & directed was a student film called, "Granny Basher", which can be seen on U Tube. Molly made this film, as she wanted people to realise that elderly abuse was a serious topic in Ireland & that it must be highlighted in the media on a frequent basis.

Sort it out GOVERNMENT !!!!!!!!!!!

Budget begins to bite-People of Ireland I love you.

Don’t rip off are older citizens.

The government has lost touch with the wonderful people of Ireland.

The Elderly: The elderly built this country.
Students: Education is a right not a privilege.

Sort it out Government-that’s my message.
Protect are pensioners and the students of this country.

A message for the D.P.P.
Please don’t leave the citizens off Ireland in Limbo.
Every case is of equal importance.

Protect the elderly-Please dont allow them to worry and suffer. They deserve to have health security. It's sad the way the word “recession” is being constantly used through different media forms. Were taking seconds of people lives by scaring them with the big “R” word.(It can often come across as if the country is coming to an end!).

The richer are getting richer and the poorer are getting poorer.I fall under the poor category and I'm not ashamed to say so.(Suffering for my art).

Memories of my Idol.

For I will always have beautiful memories of this man. A real gentleman,my Grandad. A workaholic other's would say. By God he aimed to please and that he did. Everybody loved Pierce every body knew Pierce. A well known Dubliner who had pleasant words to say only. A professional man who kept to himself -working best as an individual.

A highly intelligent man who was often compared to Einstein. In my eyes and in the academic eyes of other’s Pierce Mulligan was a Genius without a shadow of a doubt.

Pierce Mulligan made a Television from scratch many moons ago-My Father remembers quite fondly. I didn’t say he invented the Television.
I would answer the front door to all his customers he would call them, “ The Punters”. A hilarious funny man always had a joke to tell. With a priest in one corner of the room and Irelands biggest gangster in another. He would wind these individuals up. Gently creating a heated atmosphere in his workshop. Having the Irish banter continuously for many years kept my Granddad’s spirits alive. Listening to the hysteric laughter of many individuals from all walks of life, I would gladly offer them a cup of tea as they sat patiently waiting for their T.V. as my Grandad worked his special skills and knowledge healing the Television.Every customer left Fleming Road with a smile on their face.

Sadly his livelihood was taken away from him. As they say, “What goes around comes around”.I live my life by this quote.
In the tender arms and care of a convalescent home my Grandad was safe and away from all harm. Thanks to my Father.

I have written so much about Pierce Mulligan over the years for I was the eyes who kept watch in Drumcondra. Believe me, There’s a book and film in everyone.

I shall never forget this man for as long as I live for he has thought me to be strong, hard, wise and most of all I must say.

Watching my Grandad eat, sleep, work & communicate has made me the person I’m today. Ready for the world. A good judge of character and someone who won’t be easily influenced or fooled.

I come from good blood and that I’m proud of.

In the loving memory of my Hansom, Wonderful, Multi-talented, Intelligent,Hardworking,Gentle Grandfather-Pierce Mulligan.

I always loved you & you’ll never be forgotten in my world.

Your picture lies by my bed forever.

You’ll be sadly missed.

You’re the Best.

Your Granddaughter,

Sarah Mulligan-(Your only son’s only daughter).

Hello Sarah,

I think you are a very talented individual and a natural beauty.

I am from Las Vegas, another big talent place and I was a performer at Caesars Palace for years and actually a bartender at the same time.

It was really a combination of the two I was a bartender at a place called Caesars Magical Empire
http://www.pcap.com/mag_emp3.htm
We had to all act and be able to perform magic for guests

I have been in Las Vegas for a long time and in L.A. not as often but I know the BIZ very well.

I know many famous actors from bartending at Caesars palace for over 12 years mainly at the bar I said previously and at a bar near the showroom.

I could probably make money in the celebrity gossip biz.

I don't want to discourage you but I know how hard the "biz" is and L.A. and Las Vegas are hard places to live in and start a career in the "Biz".

I also have been in the talent scout business for commercial and theatrical industries.

If you don't mind I would like to critique you a bit about your Showreel.
First it is great that you have one and it is very much needed in the showbiz industry.

A few pointers:
You need to reduce the length of your reel as anyone looking will be seeing tons of showreels and if you make it too long they will get annoyed and people in the biz recruiting are brutal and have the attention span of about 15 seconds, so impress within the 15 second window or it is over.

Don't make your showreel more than 3-minutes if at all possible try to show your best in 2.5 if you can.

Take your best stuff and trash the rest.

By looking at your showreel I see you are showing your range of talent and I would suggest what to do if you want to have a multi-range reel you need to divide the reel into categories that are clearly titled and I would suggest titles like "Live performance acting", "Commercial Work", "Dance" or get specialized like "Burlesque" and "News Reporting".

Have the titles easy to read before each intro and I would suggest fade to black after each category on your reel and use large white text with the black background as that is what I prefer.
The reasoning for that? Well for example if I see dancing and that is not at all what I am looking for I can fast forward to what I am looking for and a large text category title helps locate what I want to see. If I like what I see in that category of interest I may go back and look at the other material and also gives the ability of reference point if another is later to review the reel for another opinion.

Do not make a long fancy intro or fancy stuff around the title or scene intro titles, keep it simple! The showreel is about you and don't distract from that point.

I would strongly suggest that you have a professional make your showreel, in L.A. they often throw away home made showreels as soon as it starts.

I checked out your performance on YouTube..it was quite exhilerating. Are you currently performing? Is the economy in Ireland supportive of your work or is it hard on you?

Okay my friend acrosss the world.....................
I probably should not respond back so quickly-----but your words and the two brews I just had at a sports bar say otherwise.
You are very deep. I am sure that "deepness" leaves you alone at times. But that is alrright, isnt it? I think in a strange way, I understand you.

I once, back almost 30 years ago--- was single, living in the NC mountains, a beautiful place. Was basically living by myself. Had a guitar. I wrote prolifically. Was very happy, in a sad sort of way. I was 29.....
Later, I got married to a woman I dont deserve, have three reallly neat sons (13, 16, 18). Have a job that I do all of the time. Still play some music when I find the time. But that "spark" is gone.
I often say when I get real old, or perhaps am disabled by some illness, I will play again. Alot.

But when I hear folks like you, sweet Sarah ( do you prefer Molly?) spill out your "guts". it strikes a chord within me. A chord that seems like it is true love, or admiration, or appreciation, or...I am not sure what it is.

But mainly I want to affirm you. You are only 27. Enjoy your life. You are living in a place many people all over the world wish they were at. Just live it. I know you are.

Just know that you did touch me. Deep within in a place I did not know still could be touched.

Thank you Molly. We have connected...

Yes I see that all around me. May are shutting down businesses, cutting back.
That makes it tougher on the artists.
However--from what I have seen Sarah, you have the special trait--the fortitude, the belief in yourself. I believe in you--and you make me believe in myself!
