- OK here goes the bio... My grandmother on my mother's side was a Daugherty. Married to Patricia (Patti) - we have 3 daughters, 2 sons, 2 daughters-in-law, 1 son-in-law, 2 grandsons, 1 cat, a bunch of fish, and 2 granddogs (*whew*). I'm one of those software guys who also teaches programming in the evening. Hmm - I like to ride my bike, look at the stars with my telescope, and play flute, low whistle, penny whistle, and Native American flute.

My mom was a teacher so I suppose some of it rubbed off :-). Hm, I had an Irish grandmother so maybe *talking* rubbed off too. I do enjoy teaching! Best of luck on your 3rd career!
I see you teach programming. I am currently back in school starting a 3rd career. I have gone back to school to get my degree in programming. I am getting ready to start the semester, which I will be taking C++.
