About Me:: I am an ordained minister operating a wedding ministry in my spare time. I dont have much of that as I am working on two Master's and a Grad school search for my phd. I enjoy reading, watching tv, beign with my pets, spinning, RenFaires and related activities and I am a dedicated Scot. I often say I am a Witch, a bitch and a biker. I love Celtic music and I would like to learn Scots Gaelic, but I had trouble with German. I will post a pic when I am at a different computer. Not a choice in the list above, but should be...I am celibate and staying that way!

Favorite Music:: Celtic Trad., bagpipes, classic rock when I need to bang my head (as it were!), Classical, a wee bit of old country and Christmas music as long as it isn't in October!

Summer of my discontent!

So, this summer is all about the bad finances and starting a debt reduction plan. I have had nasty phone calls and despite having made an arrangement with AT&T, they turned the phone off anyway. So, communication is a flop, too. I am in the midst of summer classes and paying for them, mind you. I also have reduced income because of taking 2 weeks off work to take classes. Regarding the Red-bellied Woodpecker, you have an excellent question..! But as you can see, English is not my mother tongue... I would suggest you to address your more than pertinent question directly to American Ornithologists' Union (A.O.U.) http://www.aou.org/

The French name of the bird : *Pic à ventre roux*, is, in my humble opinion, a bit more descriptive of the reality... if you look closely to that picture, you will see a faint pale rusty color change in the region where legs connect to body...
