Solo, with a Rail pass and my road bike, I first arrived in Ireland in 1997. As I rolled down the ramp off the ferry, I cried tears of joy when I touched land. I was truly happy to be in Ireland! My photo is outside the Youth Hostel in Dun Laoghaire.
